Well I think, he is a beginner and he may had to consider to place it in starting with gamestudio but I think you're beeing VERY discriminating against him Matt, I mean who are you to judge him

@ Art_Of_Fun just try and upgrade to the lastest version of 3DGS

Cheers

Re: Oh my God! - 11/18/06 10:21

all this talk and no solution.....

the build tool was made using msvcrt7 "MSVC 2003 i think" you need to download the proper dlls to make it work

you need http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...;displaylang=en
download it install it then ok!!

Re: Oh my God! - 11/18/06 12:30

Hey troublemaker, i am not from conitec but the solution was already given at first glance. The solution IS to upgrade to the latest version and NOT download dlls.

You see, as far as i know, nobody here with an upgraded version or with a legal copy of 3dgs has such problems.

This has happend to me before, and I am a long time legal user of both com and pro!

Check to make sure you have "wwmp2wmb.exe" in the \bin subdirectory of your
gstudio folder. This is run when you press the "build" icon in WED.

If an antivirus app quarantined this file or it has became otherwise corrupted
or deleted, this behavior will happen.

Re: Oh my God! - 11/21/06 21:04

Could you post as a screenshot of the About panel of WED?
This problem is very likely related to the used version,
and having this panel we can help you in a better way as without.

you need to save your level with a name (not untitled), before you can build it.
