Acknex "Vehicle Code" ("movecar" file) question - 02/10/04 10:55
I downloaded and installed the Vehicle Code file from Acknex. It works as promised, except on the model I want to use it for.
The included car model works. So I tried it on my own model, which is a tank (and a rather large file). I get the effect of it spinning end over end with maximum engine rev. In the "Problems" file this is answered with "Your car model has its origin set too low." No matter how high I raise the model on the Z axis, the problem persists. I tried using the action on one of the treads, which I have saved as a separate model (but which is duplicated in the tank model--which is just one large model). The tread alone works fine--no spinning.
But the tank continues to spin.
Does anyone know what might be causing this? Would the size of the model have an influence here?
