Physics limitation in commercial edition?

Physics limitation in commercial edition? - 02/27/04 22:42

Hi all,

Can someone tell me how limiting the physics engine in the commercial edition of 3D Gamestudio is? I read that there is a limit of 1 physics object, but does this mean that only one entity in the game can use the physics engine? Can this single physics object be a complex object consisting of multiple bodies combined through joints (i.e. an articulated rigid body) or is only one body allowed?

Hi there.
It's one body at any one time.
But you're welcome to look at newton PE www.physicsengine.com
It's a free PE 3DGS plugin (some say that it is better than 3DGS PE as it's more stable)
