A7 upgrade question

A news item from January says:

"While the A7 release date is not yet determined, a free A7 upgrade is included in any currently delivered A6 version or upgrade."

what are the differences between the free A7 upgrade and the full A7 product that will be released?

There is no difference in features.

Upgrade == Full A7.

So the only difference there really is that you don't have to pay up the fee for upgrading later on.

As an added advantage, I would say that if you buy A6 now you get A6 and A7 (not just A7).

But, based on your answer somebody might think they can sell the A6 lisence after upgrade to A7 - which should be natural if "owning" both licenses.

No, in that case you couldn't sell your A6 license without selling A7 as well. You'd simply be the owner of A6 and A7 and only pay for A6 - this is exactly what I have said.

Ok, here's another advantage: you buy A6 now and you don't have to worry about a potential price increase. I don't know if the price will increase or not, but if you buy now you can be sure that the potential price increase won't affect you.
