Searching the board is too limited - 10/12/07 08:55
The search function here at the board is really funny. You click at search, type in your question and hit enter. Then you realize that you forgot to change the "newer than one week" to "newer than one year" to get a result. Okay, back to search, change it, and good. Then you find out that you need another keyword, because the current keyword spits out nothing. Same game than above. Forgot to change the "newer than one week" to "newer than one year". So back and change it and ....
But then you get the following message:
You cannot make another search at this time. Please try again in a few minutes.
Please use your back button to return to the previous page.
That was it. End of search after four steps. Now that is useful
I understand that you want to prevent flooding and bandwidth. But must this lead to that you cannot use the search function at all? Shouldn't be this rigid in my opinion.
But then you get the following message:
