Hi,

I am pretty sure that the crane demo by ventilator was a good example for a chain made from entities.

I havent tried it myself but you can probably use PH_BALL for this.

Hi,

thanks for the reply - i am sure it works with this ph_ commands, but in my manual ph_add is shown as available for the commercial version only ...
ok, in the online version, the "C" for commercial is not mentioned... but i have tried to recompile the bulldozer example for this reason, and it told me that i was using functions i am not allowed to use so i think some physic functions are REALLY not allowed , and my question now is if that what i wanna do is possible.

Perhaps, only the developers are knowing if one should be able to do that with the free version or not,
because most professional users won't work with the free version (?)

Is this lite-c or gamestudio your thinking of?

i use lite-c only,
and the "C" above was the "C" for commercial.

I'm sorry if i've expressed myself missunderstandable...

Ok, is it free? If so i think the physics is only available with the paid.

As far as i understood, parts of the physic are free in the A7, but not all parts, and especially the entity chain thing is something i am curious if it is realizable in the free Edition,
unfortunately i'm not experienced enough to figure that out myself, and because my idea is a little physics play, it makes not really sense if sometimes i discover thatthe functions i would need are thought to be paid laugh

The car demo works with the free version. So PH_BALL must also work. Besides, rigid physics is listed on their website and that includes all constraints.

All versions support full rigid physics. Only fluid physics is restricted to Pro.

Ok it's solved,

@jcl
pehaps the manual (the local one which one gets when downloading lite-c) need to be upgraded (if not already happened) because on ph_add there still stood a "C" under "edition" , but for me it's clear now, thanks!

@petra
okay, thank you, then i'll have something to start with =)
