DirectX11 - 04/29/10 02:24

Hello JCL,

Does gamestudio have any problem on DirectX 11? We've been testing our game and works fine on the lower version of DirectX but we encounter a crashed on a pc with DirectX 11 support.

Please advise. Here is the specs:

you still have to install directx9 even if you have directx11 on the pc. GS has no problem with dx11, alot of users use win7 here.(all win7 includes dx11)

Win7 and 64 bit are a normal PC configuration and won't cause a crash. A proper DirectX 11 installation can also not cause a crash.

The first thing to do in case of unknown PC crashes is installing the latest DirectX version, installing the proper drivers of your 3D card, and generally checking the PC setup, especially the DEP. See also our FAQ and the troubleshooting hints.

Have a 64bit Win 7 too, no problems...
