Log-in trouble? - 02/09/11 13:46

Anyone else getting logged out when they try to make a post in certain forums? For example, I can post here or in the Future forum, but if I try to respond to a particular thread in Jobs Offered I'm told to "log in and try again".

Yes, seems like many people have the problem. The "Was freut dich gerade" and "Was regt dich gerade am meisten auf" threads are full of germans complaining about this.

I had that problem with Internet Explorer, but now I'm using Safari and all works fine

Edit: I got logged out when entering that shitty MMOG thread in jobs offered

Still I'm pretty confused why the problem appears only in connection with that one user. I'm not thinking he hacked the forums or anything, but still it's odd.

True; Got logged out after typing a reply (but not submitting it, just click the "Forums" link at the top) and a second time after just reading and then going back to the forum overview. Both times that one particular thread (jobs offered - hiring) was involved.

EDIT: okay, now his avatar changed to http://chamorrobible.org/images/photos/g...100103-huge.jpg for me. Its 4 MB in size, lol.

I guess he has a random avatar changing script so you only get logged out sometimes..

Love that one. Also, a huge security issue with ubb, not only the external avatar embedding but also that functions like logout are not secured by a hash.
