[Question] About Physx EULA - 04/19/11 16:50

Hello, I have updated to A8 and am researching about new Physx features. And I have a question about it's EULA.

I read and understood the credit condition on this page:
http://www.conitec.net/beta/pX_intro.htm
We need to show Physx logo and credits on our application etc.. It's OK.

But, when I read the original EULA(linked from above page) I found an another condition(section 3):
Quote:
YOU ARE REQUIRED TO NOTIFY NVIDIA PRIOR TO USE OF
THE PHYSX SDK IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ANY
COMMERCIAL PHYSICS APPLICATION.

So we have to notify NIVDIA prior to distribute our commercial game(made by 3DGS with Physx)?

While I guess that we 3DGS user are not using Physx "SDK" itself, I want to confirm that above condition is applyed for us(3DGS user) or not.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Just do it (notifiy them) - they won´t eat you.
I´ve done it myself, no problem, no hassle.

You're normally not using the PhysX SDK, you're only redistributing a PhysX application. So we have to notify nVidia, which we did. But of course, it won't harm when you notify them about your game. You need to do that anyway when you use the PhysX SDK for modifying the PhysX DLL or adding new features.
