Unfortunately no. The new WED will have a different plugin interface. BTW, it's not A9, it should be already available for A8.

Have anything to show on new WED or Android? Just keep the hype up? Maybe on beta forum? Early test shots and what not?

It is some semester estimated for some beta (One more year) ?
I know i'm very annoying , for my part i'm okay with actual SED and WED even if i asked some improvments.
Perhaps some sort of "Programmers Core Help" could help to develop new WED and mobile ?
I mean make it some sort of open source modules ?
The more people developping different parts , the more it can progress and faster in terms of months instead of year ? Or it is some bad idea ?
