problem with maya exporter

The maya to mdl exporter found on this website doesnt seem to export animations, am I doind something wrong? If it doesnt export animations is there another exporter that will? Thanks in advance.

are you using bone animation? If you are, then you have to bake the bone animation to the model. The exporter can only export vertex animation.

you don't have to bake any animation. the exporter exports all kinds of animation as vertex animation automatically.

can you give more details of your problem?

1) How do bake the bone animation to tbe model.

and to ventilator: How can I export it as a vertex animation? I'm failry new to Maya. (Marky is posting on my behalf).
