Hi!
I created a model with 3D Studio Max 6, but when i put in Wed the textures are mixed, i export from 3d studio max to *.3ds, and import in FragMotion, and export from FragMotion to .mdl and import in Wed.
Strangely when I export from 3d studio max to Med and from Med to Wed the model dont appear in the game but appear in med...
please somebody can explain me, how i can export a model from 3D Studio Max and put in 3DGS with the correct textures?

I'm not an expert, but i'd suggest you to bake the textures.

Arturo Conrado is right. You need to bake the textures into a new, automatically UV mapped texture. In 3dsmax, press the number "0" key. It brings up the render to texture (bake) dialog. I think I will write a tutorial on this, many seem to ask the same thing.

sounds like an alpha channel issue, as if your model is completely transparent (full black alpha channel). either you export your skin without an alpha channel or, if you need it, with all values inverted.

.3ds doesnt support UVmaps i think... so that could be why your textures are all messed up?

through PandaX exporter plugin (google for it), or the quest3d max plugin (on the quest3d site)

No, .3ds does export UV mapping I think. It worked for me, I applied the "Unrwrap UVW" modifier on the object (in 3dsmax) then export...

When i export to .x, and try to import in med, nothing happens, the model dont appear :/
