Im having a problem with the skin I imported not showing up in the 3D view panel of the skin editor in MED. I assumed it would automaticlly do it.
I did all the obivous like set skin etc, But still no go.
I have a more than powerfull enough computer and ram.
Any suggestions please.

Could be several things...
select faces and goto "set skin"
if it was an imported model...
if the skin is even being imported...
etc...

If you import from another software modelling you should unwrap your skin before export, and use .bmp or .tga or .pcx (see manual for textures format)
If making model in MED..select face, new skin,texture and open your texture,
for safe the textures should power of two..64x64,or 128x128 etc, then set skin.

Ah that could be the problem, not being the power of two. It comes up with a warning about that. It shows up fine in the main model editor and runnung the level does't cause a crash or anything. I am importing a 24bit tga skin.
Model is just a sign of 256x128, skin matches size of model.
Oh well, maybe another bug..

Are you using A6 6.5? If yes try to use the old render DLL. In MED File-Preferences-Video Out.
Check gxl3dx8a.dll for 3-d Views.
Now the skin should map properly in Skin Editor.
