Copy Frames in MED?

Copy Frames in MED? - 10/30/07 23:21

Is there a way to copy a set of frames from a model in MED so that I have duplicates of them?

For example, let's say that I have a model with 150 frames of animation. Can I, for example, copy frames 76-90 so that I have a duplicate set of these frames appended onto the end (thus, the copy becomes frames 151-165)?

I see how we can add a set of frames to the end, but I don't want to add, but to copy a set of frames so I only have to do a few minor tweaks for these new animations (basically making a happy face neutral).

Any help would be appreciated.

OK. I see that the ADD FRAMES function under Manage Frames allows me to copy a frame. However, is there a way to copy a group or set of frames (i.e. 76-90) and not do one at a time?

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that was possible in earlier versions of MED. For some reason, unknown to us commoners, it was lost in an upgrade.

But a workaround may be to export the model in ASC and then append the frames.

But guess what? You can't do that in the latest upgrade.

I keep V.6.171 on my desktop for that purpose and for skinning. I find skinning to be much easier in the older version.

At some time in the future "upgrade" will become a curse word.
