GED is a sostitute of wed... GED - Public BETA 0.12 If you search an external program for create your level... I recommend blender 2.49

I agree with DavideG,

there is a blender exporter that can
export everything model by model
and changed it to WED format.
( as strong as it needs to be! )
or the new GED, both of these are probably your
best bet.

If you want something different than these two,
there is also Deled (not as powerful, but quick),
T.ed (the terrain editor) can help make
outside worlds. 3d World Studio,

What I am saying is you have many choices.
Personally, since you are using 3DGameStudio,
your best bet is to learn how to use WED.
It is wireframe, but it is okay. Once you learn things,
you can switch to GED (which is GREAT!!!!).
If you don't like GED, your best bet is to search for
a blender exporter on the forums. But blender is more difficult,
and will not give you better results unless you do certain things....

WED and GED is both very powerful,
they can handle near unlimited polygons,
and is used in conjunction with
the 3dGS environment, not really inferior,
so I would say use those...

No, blender is in fact far more powerfull than any other world editor on the market....10 fold....but this is not a debate I apologize. I just wanted to state the facts.

Re: world editor - 09/04/09 18:56

did you check the link I provided?... ventilators plugin will build a level from what you created in blender, that is why it is a "level" exporter...this is a good thing.
