Comment tags names broken for flags - 01/23/10 13:44
WED 6.941 from 7.82
// skill1: DELAY 160
// flag1: SPIN 1
// flag2: ROTATE ON
WED shows skill 1 as Delay with 160.000 as value. As it should.
Flag1 + 2 will be checked in WED but the names "Spin" and "Rotate" will not show up beside the checkboxes.

Yes, i agree with you. But if you open the behaviour panel, you can see spin and rotate

Yes, but I use the first skills and all the flags because you can access them very fast from the main panel in WED. And you simply need to select one entity after the other to be able to compare the settings.
I prefer the direct way without floating dialogs which disappear into the background if you select the next entity.

I think the //flag tag in the entity properties dialog was never implemented. But we'll check, and implement it on the next occasion.

I think the //flag tag in the entity properties dialog was never implemented.
It is listed in the manual. I hope there are no "not implemented, yet" easter eggs

Maybe you're confusing the behavior panel with the properties panel?

There are two ways to access the skills and flags.
1. Behavior tab besides properties, position and object.
2. Behavior dialog from the context menu "Behavior"
While the first option only shows comment tags names for skills, behavior dialog shows both (named skills and flags).
I would like to see the named flags in the tab, too.

Yes, I understood that, but as I said, flag comment tags are for the behavior panel, not for the properties panel. It had to be implemented and we'll do that on occasion.

Any new word on this, personally this would be very helpfull to have in.
Also, any possibility the same can be done for string1/string2 (this has been requested before, and I did not want to make a new bug report for both of these)?
regards,
