hello,
Is there a way to not compile light and shadows. I f you have a large terrain it take for ever to get done.

EDIT: I tryed to use Update Entities but it did not work.

Hi...
If you are compiling from WED you will see a button with 3 arrows in the lower left.
Click on that and Wow... All kinds of variables to set pertaining to lighting.
Turn down the "Ligtmap Resolution" and turn off the "Terrain Lighting" button.
Then hover over the other buttons to see what they do... then experiment...
Also, try to make a bunch of small terrains that mate-up instead of one big terrain...
That will help your frame rate a lot...
Up-Date entities is for a fast rebuild if you only change sprties and models and stuff in WED...
