FBX wrong model import for ADD TEXTURES TO WAD - 08/21/10 10:50

Hello,

I'm using 3DGS A8 commercial.

if I import an FBX model using the option ADD TEXTURES TO WAD, the model get wrong texture clipping (like a wrong layers or clipping management). In fact 3DGS cuts or shows the model in a wrong way.
If I import THE SAME MODEL using ADD TEXTURES TO FOLDER then the model is shown correctly.
This bug became me mad! I spent a whole night to understand where the problem was! :-)

NOTE: I used the following process (workflow):

1) create model using AC3D 6.5
2) save in native "*.ac* format.
3) load the model in UU3D (Ultimate Unwrap 3D)
4) export the model in FBX using default export configuration.
5) Import in WED using new FBX importer in A8 commercial edition.

Can you upload the FBX with the textures? We'll then look into this.

Sorry, but I modified the model several days ago, and I have no more the original model.
But I think you can reproduce the problem with the steps I sent you:

1) create model using AC3D 6.5
2) save in native "*.ac* format.
3) load the model in UU3D (Ultimate Unwrap 3D)
4) export the model in FBX using default export configuration.
5) Import in WED using new FBX importer in A8 commercial edition.

No, this problem can not be reproduced. Probably you had a wrong texture in your folder - check the names of your textures.
