Script Editor has stopt working?!

Hey all,

Ik recently reïnstalled Windows Vista on my computer and (of course) installed 3dgs (A7 Commercial) right away. When I run the Script Editor all works fine but as soon as I'm working in it for a while or when I start and exit the Engine, SED comes up with the following errormessage:



Translation (from Dutch): Script Editor has stopted working. Does anyone know why this happens or has someone encountered the same problem? ps. I tried installing A8 Trail and same happens with A8 Script Editor.

Well, I encountered the same problem but I'm using 3DGS for some years now and it only happened 3 - 5 times.
If you can't solve this problem I suggest you to post this in the Ask the Developers-Forum

Windows Vista
...famous for the compatiblity problems with a lot of programs.
But most of these problems were solved after several updates and service packs.
so: do you have the latest updates and service packs installed?

I'll look into this, tnx! I know Vista isn't the most perfect version of Windows but it is the only license I have right now xD. Great for testing purposes though, if it works on Vista it works everywhere My Windows update is behaving weird though so I'll check back here when all service packs are installed...

It all works fine now, installed al service-pack stuff (manually ^^) and that did the trick! Thanks for advice
