Hi!Currently i am working on a skateboarding simulator with arcade elements and here are some screens

Use shadows for the skater and his board! Otherwise it looks like he is flying!

thanx that is plaeasnt to read for a programmer having his first modelling experience.The controls would be just like in THPS but you can manually change them.The tricks are divided into 3 groups:flips, grabs and grinds, you can link them with manuals and reverts.There won't be much tricks in the demo(8 flips,4 grabs and 10 grinds+ manual,nose manual + special tricks), but you can link them into big combos

I'm not a skater , and I dont know if this has been done by skaters in the past , but you could add a trick to slide the skateboard on one of its sides while stepping on the other one

PS.: Just a suggestion...And btw , I didnt saw anything wrong with your game , except that everything looks a little bright maby tune it up just a little to look darker , it will give more realism.I think.

One thing that needs some improvement is when the skater is gliding of the ramp, it's like he's stuck for a milli second and then he continues.
But it's a nice update you've posted, the city is really tony-hawk like game

The video is awesome, I just loved it.

I would like to know how is the skate controled by your script, are you using any physics or you made your own movement script ?

Oh there seems to be not too much physics, but it looks quite nice.

I think it was a hard peace of work, maybe slow down some animtations where the board spins, it's faster as I was able to watch it.

of course there will be music - about 20 punk tracks,20 rap tracks and 10 'others'
physics is scripted by me - currently it is buggy, but i am enhancing it
and yes, on the video flips are too fast, because my weak PC was lagging when i was recording video and playing at the same time

Yeah, I kinda wonder if G0m0_3 is still continuing his game, it looked very good.

As for the trailer, nice job, it's comming along pretty good. Sure, physics still need some more work, but you've got the basic stuff done already. Very nice models too,

Btw. do you use level blocks or models for ramps and the like?

I haven't posted anything related to this project for a long time, so here is my little report. Finishing a demo is harder than i thought
Things i've done so far
-basic gameplay
-simple NPC's and goals
-ragdoll physics
-skill system
-most animations
Things left to do
-find and fix some bugs
-improve performance
-finish menu
-finish level
-make learning system
-more complex AI
