Press save, than choose the *fx format and there you go.

Thats the problem , There is no choise for the FX format , It only saves as a wdl file

select all files for the file type when you save and add .fx to the end of the file name

I tried this too , but It doesnt work , the file name becomes example.fx. wdl

Wich SED did you use??
Download the Lite-C Free from the Download section it should save shaders into FX.

Works the way mocosgames said. When yo do "Save As" delete the .wdl which is in the name by default and type .fx instead. Alternatively, you can just delete the .wdl part in your windows file name. You can write fx files in notepad too if you want. They are just text files (like wdl files).

you just have to create a normal text file and rename it (double-click the name in the explorer), there is no need for a save-button or sth.
all codes and codes are plain text...
