i know alittle about direct x programmer but not alot about 3dgs c/script. i mean i know sum but not alot. how hard would it be to program a dynamic shadows shader for 3dgs?????? im working on a horror game called beware. as you can see it would look a hell of alot better with sum shaders. is there a tutorial on how to convert shaders to 3dgs?

I can't view the image. I've tried to copy the link from the images properties to the address bar but got an error saying that the page violates to its terms of service.

Didn't mean to go off-topic by the way.

The problem with a dynamic shadow shader right now is that you need to use the stencil buffer for it to work..and the stencil buffer is not yet availble in 3dgs.. hopefully soon it will be

zero - it's not guaranteed, but I believe that JCL has said that stencil buffer shadows should be implemented in A6.3, ie. over the next few months. Don't take this as gospel, though, it is just the impression I have from some of his recent comments.

Cheers,

I still can't see the image. I use IE 6. Can you put the image in a web page so I can see it?
