Shaders on level geom? how? - 06/13/04 12:28

I've been looking and searching, is there a simple way to apply shaders to blocks? If not, is there a difficult way
Thanks!

In the beta, you can create a material with the same name as the block texture, and set d3d_automaterial to 1 (or 2 perhaps), and it will apply the shader to the block. If your not a beta tester, then you'll have to wait till it goes public.

Here's one way that someone managed to find
http://216.46.205.166/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=SHADER&Number=387845&page=2&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=all
It apply's it to every level block with the texture specified applied, and you have to have a wad called "standard" with the texture you want applied in it.

Hope this helped
