Typical Cel-Shading-Effect - 08/04/10 21:25

Hi guys,

I'm working on a jump'n'run project and I would like to have a comic-like look for it. So I was looking for a typical cel-shading effect. I've found the toon-shader which comes with 3DGS, however, it isn't quite what I'm looking for. I don't want the shader to affect reflection and lightning so much, all I would like to have those black outlines - but apparently the default toon-shader doesn't do that. So do you have any advice? I'm pretty sure that I've seen something like this for 3DGS before, I just can't find it any more...

Thanks,

Alan

good luck, it works rather well. make sure you read the instuctions,. theres a hint in one of them on how to change the line thickness.
