Well all you have to do is go:

my.metal = on;

and give your model a blue color.

Or like this:

Code:

material Blue_Metal
{
ambient_blue = 150;
ambient_green = 1;
ambient_red = 1;

diffuse_blue = 155;
diffuse_green = 1;
diffuse_red = 1;

specular_blue = 153;
specular_green = 1;
specular_red = 1;

emissive_blue = 150;
emissive_green = 1;
emissive_red = 1;
}

action Blue_Metal_Object
{
my.material = Blue_Metal;
my.metal = on;
}

Or you could do what that forum thread says (shader).

Try the Surreal Material Effects Editor in my sig. There's a little error though - you need to add semi-colons after the lines in the generated script. Essentially, the progam lets you make such effects by dragging bars and such
