too much competition out there - 09/08/12 04:13

this post is for Gamestudio execs.
With all the game engines on the market now a days, and all of there excellent features, do you guys have any plans of matching them feature by feature.

* Dx10 or Dx11 support

* i forget what they call it, but Unreal engine boasts about some feature where you can actually see the whiskers on some guys face.

* Linux, MAC, and console (Xbox, PS3, Wii) support

Perhaps you are on the wrong forums ?

Lot of 3DGS users know what it can do and what it can't do, and how hard are some things to do compared to some more expensive engines.

Yoiu should try Unreal Engine 3, you can use it for free as much as you want.
If you finish a game you just pay 100$. and you'll pay more to them only when you'll win a lot lot lot of money laugh

So stop complaining and begin to work seriously on your game with Unreal 3 engine.

Perhaps i'm wrong and you don't have any game project in mind ? no real game idea ? perhaps you don't even have already produced any game ?

Or perhaps you ask for better lightening or a complete lightening solution that looks good ? in that case indeed 3DGS won't be the 3D engine you need.
In that case, your post is useless and you should try and buy some other existing 3D solution having what you need laugh !
