how about a set of 3 crystal (quartz-like) light sources?

one as a torch (double terminated, and set in a metal wall torch hanger)

One as a ceiling fixture (a crystal cluster set in a metal ring base (about 3' in diameter) with a couple of large crystals extending further out than the others (1 about half way, the other being the main portion of the light source (about 7' long)),

and one similar the the ceiling fixture above, with a smaller cluster that has 1 2' crytal pointing down, and 4 other crystals pointing n,s,e and w.

I'd provide a concept picture, but I haven't been able to draw one that matches what I am looking to make/have made.

Hey aztec and everybody else, I already started on the hoverbike but I'm doing it slightly different from the picture because aztec is doing that one. Anyway I will post images of it in showcase when it's finished. By the way I'm really curious how your hoverbike is going to look like, aztec. Have a nice day, Molotov.

Hmm.... I wouldn't mind an unskinned model, as long as the triangle count (or whatever it is called, I don't know) is low, so I could skin it. Skinning isn't that much of a problem for me.

Hey, don't expect much from me too about the skinning. My skins are never great work just take a look at my new vehicle post in showcase1. Anyway how much faces should the hoverbike be. At the moment I only have the backside of the hoverbike which is about 900 faces. My goal is to stay under the 2000 faces. Also Tachys picture can be seen when someone puts the url adress in a seperate page.

Well, as I am not a modeler, I wouldn't know how many faces are OK for such a hoverbike. If you think below 2000 is good, than it's cool with me!
And don't worry about the skinning, I think I'll manage somehow.

I don't know how long it would take me to draw a nice skin, so I think it would be easier for you to just send me the unskinned version! Don't worry about it being too low-poly, the whole model will be surrounded by a bunch of particles and I'll try to make a very good skin, so as the poly count wouldn't affect the look of the model.
Just PM me a download link, OK? ^^

If it isnt to much trouble aztec and if your still alowing wishes i would like a simple m16 not to hard, i cannot figure out how to post a picture here as i dont spend heaps of time on the forums ive just been trying to get my game finished and all i need to finish the demo is an m16 and my level.

can i make your hover bike? pls i want to...i think i could do a really good job...it will be untextured though. im just going to make it for fun...i wont use it in anything commercial...i really dont have a use for it..but it looks like lots of fun to make .

I also downloaded the weapons.rar file which aztec posted and it includes one M16 with 30 rounds mag and a M16 with a 20 rounds mag plus a colt version of it with a second grip.

By the way: the image you linked too (http://www.investmentgradefirearms.com/images/M16.jpg) is not an M16 afaik but the colt version (CAR15) of the M16.
The colt version is shorter, uses a different (how do say?) "back-part" (I think its called "butt", not sure though) and is thus somewhat lighter.

weird, I didn't get a rejection notice.

and even weirder, here it is....even though it is the same tag as in the previous post... and the vertical height for the wall 'torch' is a mislabel... it should be 2 1/2 not 4 1/2.



edit: and weirder still... now that I posted this, the original post show the image as well...

Edit x2: well, the weirdness is understood now... follow this linkhere to see the picture. I had copied and pasted the link url into my browser, and from that point on it showed up in the forum posts (for me) because it was already in my temporary files.
