Retro game contest winners

Dear friends,

Thank you for getting involved in this contest either by creating these impressive demos or by taking the time to test them, comment on them and vote them. It was a tough competition, so the jury has had a hard time deciding the winners:

1st prize (A7 pro): Meteor Mess 3D
2nd prize (A7 pro): Key Perilous

JCL had appreciated the quality of the entries, so he has decided to give away one more prize:

Hey now that Goldeneye has a PRO in the back, i hope for a 32 player match soon ;P
But you should think about, doung an own design. Goldeneye is good, but you are also restricted to its rules. With an own idea you could make an online shooter with many fresh ideas, tha base is the same.
Cant wait to see more of it!

Nice I'd be willing to bet the fact that GoldenEye was multiplayer really helped especially considering how most people think very little of A7's multiplayer capabilities.

I didn't vote, simply because I didn't have time to try all the entries, so my vote wouldn't be fair.

Was the jury from the voting? If so, sorry to be the bearer of bad news but:
1st: Meteor Mess 3D 31 (26%)
2nd: Golden Eye 23 (19%)
3rd: 2662 Star Invaders 17 (14%)
4th: Key Perilous 15 (13%)

Or did I miss something?

i have no idea either, seems theres another poll that gets combined with this, idk

Looks like "Golden Eye" was pushed because of MP content[imho] (MP is very rare with 3DGS)

This poll was just 49% ... 51% came from the AUM jury.

Anyhow how they judged it in then end,
Meteor Mess 3D is the rightfull winner,
simply given the complexity of the game, and
perfectly fitting to the Retro category.
(Also, they got quite lucky with the Retro-competition theme,
as the game was started as Retro way before that)

The other rankings could be argued about, but I think its ranked quite ok in the end.
