well, you could print yourself a tshirt with the writing "publisher wanted" on the front and on the back "game developement" + your website .. thats how i made it and now i am the fx engenier ceo at activision and have lots of mones, girls and fancy cars

Maybe add in a few more "!" so they know your serious. All caps is great but make sure to write it in L33T or they might think you're just a kid.
Tell them about how all your friends and teddy bears liked the game as well.
Also make deragatory remarks about their sexuality using only 3 letters if they don't publish your game.
And don't show screen shots or demos, just tell them it will look great when it's done.

Read up on Gamasutra ( http://www.gamasutra.com/ ) with emphasis on the postmortems of indie and casual titles. Browse the indie business section of the Indie Gamer forums ( http://forums.indiegamer.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2 ). And, yes, as the posts above suggest, you'll get a better response if you take the time to explain what you're trying to do, rather than blurting it out in all caps.
(But come on; we were all spastic newbies once upon a time. There's no need to mock the fellow -- you guys are usually so supportive.)

Cant say i wouldnt invest if a dev team could pay a hottie for a lapdance or more ok that was inappropriate, but you really should be more professional when looking for developers, what if that particular developer decides to check out the engine your using, goes on the forums, and sees that... you look like a ten year old.

You have to do a nice storyboard, nice drawings, and very good demo, do a nice website, a link for download send the link to developers and publishers around the world wait.

I recommend googling game publishers too. You can find some publishers like these guys:

There are many companies always on the lookout for great ideas. Your best bet is to make a great playable demo.
