I need a stable tattoo installation exe

Hi there,

has anyone a working installation exe for tattoo on his HD? Mine is crashing everytime I startup the program and the official site is down, so, well, I need this. So maybe someone can temporarily upload it?

i am in need of a mesh texture painting tool, and i'm not willing to spend €600 on bodypaint. so i found tattoo and tried to work with it. the installation works fine, however, i get a "memory violation error" at startup and the app closes.

a) any fixes? (latest version 1.86)
b) any alternatives?

i have Tatoo Version 1.85 none comercial it works, but i use 3D Brush is much better.

I can highly recommend 3D Brush.

I tried Tatoo as well as other 3d painting apps, but could never find anything powerful enough within my budget.

Now I have bought 3D Brush, I have stopped looking for anything else.

i have one of the early 3d brush betas, and it didn't convince me. i really don't need any displacement painter, carrara does the job better for me, but carrara's shader texture concept is really hard to understand. with my brush3d beta, texture painting wasn't implemented yet. so i'll have another look at it...

Don't forget Blender do basic painting (with some parameters like transparency , you have alos blurr tool ) in 3D directly on the mesh and also if you want in the bottom window in the diffuse map directly if you want

I use that mainly ,i do a rought diffuse map, than opne it on Gimp2 , work it
with all great tools , than just do refresh under blender from times to times to see if results in 3D are what i need.

Blender is free Gimp 2 also

expert, don't miss to try backsmith! its painting tool is completely free of charge and is quite remarkable, not the most stable programm i've ever used, but produces nice and seamless results.
