Lite-C version 0.70 is now available on the lite-C page:

http://www.conitec.net/english/gstudio/litec.htm

It contains some fixes to version 0.66, and an improved manual. Also a new MED version is available there.

New med dosn't work for me either...
Med.log is still empty.

The Windows error indicates it could be in: gxl2basdx9.dll

Here is part I copied from the message after clicking
the click here option for details:

Code:

error signature
AppName: med.exe AppVer: 6.8.5.6 ModName: gxl2basdx9.dll
ModVer: 1.1.0.0 Offset: 0000ec4a

Acknex, Sed, Everything else works fine.
Just still no MED....

Is there a changelog for lite-C? I wouldn't want to say, "Zomg, teh bugs I have aren't fixed. WHAR FIX?!?1!one?questionmark". Or, in other words, bring up a bug that you know about that isn't fixed.

I.E.
Lite-C still crashes on me when I try to run a source file that uses the Acknex engine.

Desktop icon is looking good, but the one in the startmenu and the application itself looks bad. Geforce6600 | 1024x768 | 32bit.

Why the title bar not say something as Lite-C Editor or Lite-C Script Editor - What you want to crash today? No, seriously I really like Lite-C! Looks more professional language, but I feel not as intimidated as with C++. Think it will open up a lot of new doors for everyone.

There is no real changelog; only all bugs reported until last week were fixed (if they were really related to lite-C and not PC or installation problems).

I cannot wait for the full version to released. I will buy it no doubt!

I checked and don't have a problem with MED. I'm running XP. Once thing I decided to do was uninstall the earlier versions of lite-c and MED, prior to running the new installs. Have your tried that?

Seems that you then didn't succeed yet in installing 0.70.

Re: Lite-C 0.70 uploaded - 02/20/07 02:56

From what I've heard from the support, the most frequent mistake in installing a software is putting it in a wrong folder, and then not finding it anymore.

To make sure that it's the right software you start, you could de-install 0.66 before installing 0.70.

ill give it a go, but im pretty sure i installed it over 0.66.

thanks,

EDIT: bingo! now any way to get rid of the watermark in the corner?

Re: Lite-C 0.70 uploaded - 02/20/07 07:22

The watermark is a restriction in the free version. If you buy Lite-c, or in the near future own A7 you can export to executable and the watermark will be gone.
