Optimizable Z1 strategy - 10/04/12 11:19

Great work on the v1.01 update, I will probably test on a live account soon could you confirm the $1000 minimum has been removed? Also I would like to make a suggestion for the next version: In a previous version (0.99 I believe) the Z1.x could be re-optimized and it would be good to have that functionality rather than having to wait for new releases to have the flexibility to re-optimise when desired. Do you think that would be possible?

Yes, the $1000 minimum has been removed, so Zorro can now remorselessly wipe your account empty.

Re-optimizing does not work because training executable strategies does not work. It worked in the beta versions because that versions contained the executable compiler, which has now been removed for the release. It is only contained in Zorro SE.

We will however regularly upload new Z1/Z2 parameter sets even when no Zorro update comes out. Z1/Z2 can be run at least 5 months without re-optimizing - probably much longer.

Thanks JCL, again really appreciate all your hard work on this and hope to contribute back to this forum when I have learnt more about it.
