Going live

Going live - 10/22/12 16:42

I am about to go live with a strategy of my own creation. Tell me one more time as I'm not sure I got it the first time. If I turn my pc off over the weekend when I turn it back on in time for the Sunday night open it will just pick up where it left off and the strategy that was running will continue to be run, stops and take profits in the right place and everything else, yes?

Yes, you can turn off your PC over the weekend. It will get disconnected anyway because the FXCM server usually goes down every Saturday.

Make sure that your PC is running again Sunday evening. If you really shut it down instead of hibernating, just restart the strategy. I recommend hibernating however. Restarting sets all series back to the lookback period, which should theoretically not matter, but generates a different situation as in the backtest.

Hello, sorry for my basic question, but should I let the Trading Station opened while Zorro trades or can I close it?
Thank you

Zorro runs independently from the trading platform so you can leave it off.
