Zorro locks up when Internet down

Hi All,

Running Zorro S v2.25, with Z12 on a demo account connect to Oanda v20.

My Internet has been bouncing down and up lately. When the Internet goes down Zorro freezes. When the Internet comes back up it remains frozen.

I have to use Windows Task Manager to End the Process and restart Zorro or, sometimes, if I click the X button on the app, I am prompted to restart the program.

Should this be considered normal?

It's never a good idea to trade on a bad internet connection. Consider using a VPS.

That said, there could possibly be an issue with the Oanda plugin. Or with Zorro's http library (if that's what the plugin is using). It's too hard to tell based on this info. You could file a bug report with oP group and see if they could figure it out.

Thanks Andrew. Yes absolutely would use a broker colo vps for live trading.

If it becomes an ongoing issue I'll submit a report.
