How can I tell if Z1 is running? - 01/09/23 18:25

Hi all,

I have both demon and prod account I have been using for a while on Oanda.

I installed Zorro, selected Z1, EUR/USD and connected to my demo account in Oanda, how do I know if Zorro Z1 is running and will be trading? The last few lines in the log are -

!the instrument id(s) specified are not tradeable
!746

When the status color switches from purple to green and when your 'Trade' button text switches to 'Stop'.

Not sure about the messages, as they are from your broker feed. Maybe an issue with the symbols in your asset list.

It did switch to STOP, and the status button is green

I wish this log window can provide a little more insight into what is going on... is there a way to run it in debug mode or something ...

Thanks!

Yes, Zorro has debugging capacities, see https://zorro-project.com/manual/en/chart.htm or simply use printf() commands to check its behavior.

Keep in mind tho that those messages are broker related. Maybe you can solve them by reading their API docs or this page: https://zorro-project.com/manual/en/oanda.htm
