var "vista_aero"

Hi,

can you JCL please put this cool var in 3dgs?

it's for Vista Aero.



value 0 = turn off Aero.
value 1 = turn on Aero.

aero doesnt affect gamestudio games? i dont see any need fo that.

Well. i need it. maybe if someone haves an old PC or VGA card and he said: Your game doesn't runs good on my vista!
and he tried to turn off aero, and the game works again! and how did you know? :P

If he had an old PC or VGA card he wouldn't be able to run aero in the first place

and player using aero, and because of that game slows down, it's not your fault.

I see no need for such a var.

Just start the game in fullscreen, and aero should be disabled.

I think it would be useful if MED disabled Aero.

lol, i have a program to disable Aero when i open MED or 3DSmax i open a program called D-Gen and Aero should be off! when i finished the work i close d-gen and Aero is back! Tadaaaaa !

Why not just right click on MED or whatever, then under compatibility tick disable desktop compesition. And voila done
