Map compiling over all progress

The progress bar in the map compiler only displays the progress of the current thing it is working on, I think it might be handy to have an overall progress bar.

Another nice feature might be the display of some type of ETA. I had no idea i'd be waiting 45 minutes the last time I compiled a map.

Does anybody else think this is a good idea? Or am I alone on this onE?

The "total" progress bar WOULD be nice in my opinion. But likely a bit "chunky".

But I think an ETA would be unmanagable because the 'time' required by
different sections of the compile would be very difficult to pre-calculate.
Otherwise the ETA would keep jumping around as it re-estimates each section,
and what good is that?

I agree with you on that entire. I'd probably settle enough for the overall progress bar, so long as it gave me some idea of of far along through the entire process I am
