Skipped trades

Skipped trades - 11/12/12 20:20

Hi!

I'm currently testing the Z2 strategy on FXCM demo account. Today Zorro skipped three trades with the message: [824: 12.11. [NAS100:HP:S] Skipped - Margin 20 Limit 5.

I couldn't find anything about that in the manual. The free margin on the account is about 99%, think this should be enough ;-)

Can you help with that?

I'm using mt4 to run my systems at the moment. I'm sure Zorro will be robust enough to place the trades for me at some stage in the future.

Chaosfreak: Messages are explained in the manual - for trading messages look under "Trading". The manual has also a search function where you can enter keywords like "skipped".

Yes, i've looked under Trading. There's a message "... Skipped - Margin 20, Min 45" explained, but what means "Margin 20, Limit 5"?

It's the same, you only looked in the online manual that was already changed for Zorro 1.03. The manual of your own version pops up when you click [Help].

The trade is skipped because 1 lot requires 20$ margin. Z2 allocated only 5$ margin because it probably considered that trade risky. When you increase the Margin and Risk sliders, less trades are skipped.
