If I was interested in this, how does this license transfer thing work? Would I have all the same rights as purchasing an original license?

it may only be transfered one time, otherwise you're not allowed to upgrade.

Yes. You do have the same rights.
However in the A6 and pre-A6 times the "licenced to" name in the about window of the WED did not change.
I'm not sure how this is being handled with A7 though.

Thanks Xarthur and Firoball. I've been sitting on the fence the last couple of days about GS Pro as a move from Torque, this would be a great way to play with more than the demo before I make that move. I wouldn't care what the About window said as long as Conitec knew who owned it...
#Edit: foodstamp, if you still have this and have cleared it with Conitec, I'd be interested in it...

I would be very interested in buying that A7 commercial off you... as long as there's a way to transfer the ownership to my account. Does anyone know if this is indeed possible? jcl?
I just don't want to e locked out of any of the goodies/downloads etc.

It is well worth the 199 but the guys I am developing with decided that they wanted too use a in house engine

Thanks foodstamp. This will make it a lot easier to evaluate GS's capabilities before getting Pro. Much as I hate to start over and leave TGB, TGEA, and TGE sitting on the shelf after all the investment in time and money, I think this is going to be a good move...

Yeah it is a good investment, it taught me a lot about level design and such,. I would highly suggest using the commercial for awhile cause I don't think there is really that much differance with the pro. You have a lot of scripts that really expands the commercial version

You can have my A6 Commercial license and upgrade to A7... that would cost 99$. I think it's still possible to upgrade the license, but perhaps we need to contact Conitec about that.
I don't want any money for it, I've got the license for free from a nice person here on the forums that didn't use it anymore.
I don't use it myself at the moment because I already own a A6 pro license and plan to upgrade to A7 pro some time soon.
