Entities not loading?

Hello, I recently downloaded the A6.22 trial for 3dgame studio and I am trying to follow the FPS tutorial that I found online. I created the simple level, used a hollow cube, and I put in a camera and the cbabe.mdl. She shows up in my 3d view and I built the level, did default build and each other button individually, yet when I run my level she doesn't show up. Is it because of textures or something that I need to load? Please help, thanks.

What textures are you putting on the cube?

default texture, the cube shows up fine and I can like fly around and stuff, but the cbabe model doesn't seem to want to render, I'm not sure if its because that has no texture like if I have to apply it some how, I'm kind of a really big nooob lol.

Is it possible that you set any flags, such as "invisible"?

Not that I know of, I right clicked and checked properties and everything is unchecked.

There is no 6.22 trial so if you have it, you have a warez version and as such you will be having a whole heap more issues than now, its an extremely buggy vesion.
Why not try the real demo?

I downloaded the 6.22 trial straight from the 3dgamestudio website, so I'm pretty sure its real.

I tried the 6.4 demo a while ago but right after I installed it I got caught up in school work so I was looking for another trial version I could try.

well download the 6.4 demo again. its not as buggy. and @ Nemisis, look before you talk. at the very bottem of the download page it says 3D "Gamestudio/A6 Version 6.22 Updates and Trial Version (~6 MB / ~35 MB - May 2004)" then it gives a download link.

Well I uninstalled the 6.22 trial and reinstalled the 6.4 demo like you said but its still expired from the last time I installed it and barely used it lol, thats why I downloaded the older version and luckily that said I would have another 30 days.

Thanks for not accusing me though bot190, maybe I should just buy the software but I'm a little cheap so I always do as long as a trial period as I can then buy it if I like it.

oh. i forgot about the time limit... yeah i think you best bet is to buy the standerd adition of GameStudio. its only $50 so.

alright thanks for the help guys, I just fixed it. Before I was right clicking and just loading the model in, but this time I did like load entity and selected her and now it works. Thanks anyway Bot190 and hopefully I will purchase the software soon, the thing is I'm going to be going to college soon and I need to figure out what I want to do, and I was thinking about video game design so I'm just trying it out for now see if I think I want to spend my life doing it. I've been 3d modeling for a while but not actually making a game. See you all around here hopefully.
