Movie - 04/07/10 12:44

Hello, one (maybe stupid :)) question from me. Is it possible in lite-c to play avi/mpeg movie directly in 3d environment of game? For example something like virtual 3D cinema. The video should not be in decent quality and should be controllable (play, pause, ff, rewind...)

Thanks very much in advance.

Thanks, good news. I must make application similar to cinema, so it must be a little bit interactive. Is there somewhere a good tutorial? By the way, isnt it too complicated? I have a little time.
Thanks again

it is fairly easy, but looks like you need atleast Commercial edition to play videos on objects.

check media_play from the manual.

So I have managed to make video play on bitmap. In the manual is written, that I can use bitmaps of any size but when I try bigger pictures, I can not see any video, just hear the sound. Whats the matter? The biggest fully working bitmap was 320*240...

Possibly there is something wrong with your video card.
What kind of video card do you have? (Intel, nVidia, etc)

Re: Movie - 06/10/10 13:31

its not codec or drivers issue.

the bitmap must have the same video SIZE.
