Skycube/Skydome Creation - How???

Hi Guys!
Does anyone know how to create a skybox from a set of pictures (a few stars)? I'm struggling to find any tutorials whatsoever on the internet that don't require commercial software :S, I do have photoshop though! (Just in case).

You can use Terragen, Irfan View, and GIMP to create any sky cube you need, There was a very easy to follow tutorial on the gamestudio resources page, it will be an excellent starting point. Here is the link for this tutorial.
