The encryption of WRS

I am using PRO. The manual says all the editons can load *.wrs files, Is it possible for otherones to know and use the contents inside? That is, how to prevent others loading own wrs files.

they can't use your files unless they know the filenames.

1. I can reverse the game exe and gain the file names -> then I could use your WRS
2. There is a public decryption out -> I can fully "decompile" your WRS and get all files. You should crypt some really important files yourself, then use WRS.

I remember Conitec has offered a price for the first who could decrypt a WRS file, but no one got it so far.

well, a wrs decrypter can be found on the web, I tried it and it worked fine. Sharing the link here is not okay obviously. There was already a thread about this a while ago.

If you don't want to have your files open to the public, don't release them. Simple as that. There will always be a way to get to them.
