Im seeing lots of great programs out there that allow for awesome bone animation.. That allow you to resize the bones and have smooth frame to frame tools..

Basically I'd like to know if there is a good Tutorial for bones animation for a human model, for MED.

Or alternatively, is there a way that I can export my model with bones to another program to rig the animation and export it all back into MED?

You can use 3DS Max for it. Also it has a lot of tutorials.

For MED Tutorials you should see;

It is a good starting for bones animation in MED.

Bones are keyed the same as non-bone animation in 3ds max. So you pick the steps at which to place a key. Basically any time a bone changes a move direction or speed. You have the ability to scrub the timeline to see the effects in motion. I think for making a model for 3dgs every frame has to be keyed and the animation speed is set by the script so if it looks insanely fast in time line its ok.

But who's got $4,000 usd for 3ds max? As for MED I've not used it and am trying to find a reasonable way to use another program.

Tutorials might be in the AUMs. At one time (what must be a few years ago) there was a few on this forum in post.

@DevoN - Have you read the online tutorial on the 3dgamestudios.com download page? http://opserver.de/doc/wed/ Opps double link I should have read the post above.
