how can the server execute a function on a client? (I want to start particel effect locally on client from the server, the particel shall not be synchronized)

wie kann der server eine funktion auf einem clienten ausführen?
(ich will ein particel effect lokal auf dem clienten vom server aus starten, also die particel sollen nicht synchronisiert werden)

I'm not shure but I think you need to use proc_client for this. Look at the manual.

Wenn z.B. ein Einschuss Funkenpartikel emittieren soll nehme ich einen Array SendEffects[4] oder so zur Hilfe.

Dann werfe ich den Vektor rein vec_set(SendEffecs.X, TARGET.X); und SendEffects[3] = EffectID_Funken; danach wird der verschickt an die Clients, und sobald die Main der Clients SendEffects[3] != 0 erkennt ruft sie eine Effektauswertungsfunktion auf, welche andhand der Position und ID entscheidet, welcher Effekt (lokal) ausgefuehrt wird.
