Does gamestudio support input-devices such as those from 3dconnexion ?
(http://www.3dconnexion.com/products/3a1.php I.E.)
As I expected, they offer no special drivers for GS, but maybe it would be possible to access the device anyway, as long as it runs under windows ?
The reason why I ask is that one of my customers had problems navigating through an architectural simulation using a typical WASD/mouse - combination.
(The navigation was proper scripted btw.)
Seems like not everyone is as familiar with games as most of us are...

May be a bit of a dumb remark, but why not just use the cursor keys. I think most people should be able to get their head around the idea of using that for navigation...

I think if the Device is DirectInput conform,
it should be possible to use, or supported by a PlugIn.

I've yet to find an input device that you can plug into your computer that can't be supported by 3DGS.

Chances are, if it is designed to work as an input device for the PC, the output will be readable in mundane ways (i.e. it will act like a joystick or keyboard). In that case, it is easy to use in 3DGS projects.
