Hello all,

I was going through the flight workshop tutorial and now I have a problem. The major one is that this program uses the old templates so I'm getting error messages left and right. I understand that I can update these older scripts so that they work with 6.14 (my version) But where is the C Updater? I can't seem to find it on the download page anymore.

ok so can someone please explain what the Cupdate program is supposed to do for my older scripts?

It replaces old syntax for new ones, such as replacing move(me,absdist,reldist) with ent_move(absdist,reldist). You may want to check the manuel as it has a list of old syntax. But last I heard, C-Updater is gone.

Wasn't it a free download?? If so, I still have it on my other computer with 3DGS ver 5.15 and other version 5's. I updated to Version 6, so I don't use 5 any longer.

I think it was... I can't find it on my computer. Was there any reason they got rid of it?

Don't know why it is gone, except it was for an old version. I found it today on my other drive and in fact I found 2 of them.
One older version that changed ver3 and 4 files. Another newer one that changed the ver 5 to version 5.23 or 51,, can't remember.
I believe that is what I have.
I found one with some files for my ver 5.15 WED and another with some files from my WED ver 4 Directory. Can't figure why I had it with the ver 4 folder, except it is the original C-Updater and the other was a change.

I will have to look on my older backup drive and see if I have 2 diffrent dates for the original download zip files.

I think... Keyword there it wasnt really working anymore or something on them lines. The manual use to have a list of outdated keywords and still might.

Also check the aum issues if I remember right theres a link in the newer aum issues that discusses this.
