Models are wireframe in the editor. Always. When you build the level, in the flythrough, they will be shaded and skinned. When you run the level, again, they will be shaded and skinned. But not in the editor.

Not true. By default they are wireframe, but this is easily configured. The part about when in the level/engine is true though.
