The best way to learn C-Script is to play with it and use it, I would strongly suggest buying it, if you are ambitious and think that someday you might succeed in making a successfull game, then it's totaly worth it, if you are just trying to have fun, then it's up to you.
MY mother bought me Gamestudio Standard (A4) for my birthday a long time ago (I was 15, now 20 and have GS pro A6 6.40), and i'm glad she did because it is virtualy imposible to become bored with it, and it has great potential. It took me a long time to learn the WDL (which is just about the same as C-Script) but ONCE you do, YOU are in the zone and can practicaly make ANYTHING!
I have'nt made any complete games, just played with it to learn, but i'm working on "The Big One" right now which is a paintball shooter game (I will be using no template scripts, all from scratch), infact, its the reason why I got A6 pro.
Go download that trial version and see how ya like it, I really think you will!

Thanks a lot for your replay. I had the free trail before and I did really like it. I tried to download it again and did not let me lol. My only choice is to buy it now. Thank you a lot, I will try to find some new guides now. Can we be friends? I would really need the help of someone when I start working witht he scripts or maybe other things. I won't bother you a lot I promise. So, what you say?

Hello Luis, I am also trying to learn C-script from reading the A6 Reference & Manual. The C-script Workshops and Acknex User Magazines written by George Pirvu. Looking at Doug's templates and the code that came with games created by other users helps a lot too. All the best, Dusty

Sup luis , yeah do like they say , just buy the $49 version and play with it , though id personally get the $89 one , its the one I have and its pretty damn good for the price, the manual covers c-script and it contails the learn wdl in 7 days , which is pretty good. One really good manual for C-Script I didnt see mentioned here is the Book of Kenji , which you can find on Grimbers site I think , Its very comprehensive and written with beginners in mind so he takes the time to explain everything step by step , which helps a lot when u dont know what ur looking at. The Acknex User Magazines are also VERY good , and contain a ton of premade scripts for many different types of situations , which is very helpfull for reference when you wanna do something similar to something they have on there. GameStudio is very powerfull and an incredibly versatile engine , you can make pretty much any type pf game i it . I would sujjest buying it , youll have a ton of fun with it , and learn how to create games using a professional game development software suite. To Vonman , you must have a really cool mom , gamestudio must be the greatest gift a 15 yr old can get , specially if you love video games : )
