I am really new to Gamestudio and I have good backgroud on 3d max modeling for games such like that.

Now I wish I could learn Gamestudio with the hep of some video tutorials.

Where can I find them? It would be really great if any of you can help me to find some neat and simple video tutorials on Game studio

Thanks in advance

Honestly dont think there is many... I have a couple on my site but they arent really tutorials instead they are more of helpful tips. Such as not using cgs subtract and a quick example of a work around.

You may find a few on the resource page. Also check the download page... Links at the top and bottom of this page.If not theres a ton of written tutorials on both sites as well as on the magazine link(Aums) and . grimbers site

You can try to use the search feature here but as I said I dont think their are that many available.

That even depends on your version. You did not insert the gamestudio version that you are using in your profile. There is a big difference in A5, A6.2 or A6.4 templates and features.

Therefore you could need different tutorials. Just add your version to your profile. That helps all of us to give correct answers.

With the trail, you don't want tutorials. You can download a quick text tutorial from the download page. It's a trial[\b]. The whole point of the trial is to see if you like the scripting, the model design, and the level design.

Good luck.

As I said theres probally not many video tutorials... If there is they are likley to be on med/modeling and maybe wed/level design as I dont know how usefull a video tut on c-script will be.

Not sure what kind of tutorials your looking for. I allready pointed out the most likley places youll find tutorials. So my question is what kind of tutorials are you looking for... med,wed or c-script?

A likley situation is you wont find much of anything usefull as far as video tutorials go... Try a search here at the forums but I honestly dont think youll find many if any.

Btw he didnt say you werent allowed just said in his opinion you shouldnt... Which I totaly disagree with. I just think your wasting time looking for video tutorials instead download what is available and start your learning.

the only FEW video tutorials I've seen had been linked in the Tutorials forum. whether they still exist or not I have no idea

video tutorials are pretty limited in what they can show/teach anyways, most part you need to have already developed some understanding of the materials before hand

If someone made video tutorials, and they were good enough, would conitec be likely to accept putting them up on their site (as in host them?) I'd be willing to do some tutorials, but I don't want the hassle of keeping a space.

Do you think it would be helpful for the general 3DGS community to HAVE video tutorials?

BTW, I learned most everything I know about scripting from your site Grimber. Thanks for posting all the tutorials! Especially the Noobway manual.
